Our Philosophy

At ZLH, we believe that your career is not just your job, but your life journey. From the Latin “carrus” meaning wheeled vehicle to modern-day Spanish “correr” (to run) and English “course” (like a race track), your career is indeed your whole life course – your vocation. It goes beyond any income-earning endeavour, to include your voluntary work and the roles you play in your families and social groups. It is everything you do to engage meaningfully with society. Your career is the Life More Abundant.

IDENTITY

ZLH Careers celebrates the diverse and vibrant tapestry of cultures across the Caribbean, weaving together our ancestral heritage with contemporary realities in the region. Through captivating vlogs, interactive cultural events, and immersive knowledge exchange programmes, we ignite a sense of belonging and connection to our heritage, promoting a unified Caribbean society and economy through cultural exchange and strategic partnerships.

About ZLH

Founded with a vision to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, ZLH Careers is a leading consulting agency in the Caribbean striving to build the capacity of individuals, organisations and industries through career development and organisational growth.

Our journey began in October 2018 with the launch of ZLH Français, offering French and Spanish language classes to students and adults in Kingston, Jamaica. Following Masters studies in Social Policy which focused on education reform and labour market challenges, we recognized the need for macro-level support in learning and skill development, and we expanded our services to include career consulting. This allowed us to provide personalised guidance to young professionals, addressing the intricate connections between education and career development.

As our online presence grew, in January 2022, we launched our Youtube channel ZLH Studio, aiming to "awaken your creativity, ignite your purpose, and expand your outlook to the world!". The platform features diverse content such as career talks (ZLH Career Connections) as well as music and dance productions (Jammin’ with ZLH and Move with ZLH respectively), reflecting our commitment to education, creative expression, and global citizenship.

A sabbatical in Spain for postgraduate study in strategic management enriched our acumen to deliver business support services for organisational capacity building. During this period, we expanded our international network and introduced ZLH Studio travel vlogs, documenting cultural and linguistic experiences across Europe.

In November 2022, we rebranded as ZLH Careers, focusing on career and business coaching, programme management and stakeholder engagement. Our history of innovation and dedication to client success drives us to continue creating pathways to success, turning visions into reality.
